Thai Street Food - Bangkok

Author: LostandFoundTravel
Description: Bangkok street food. First, you will see a quick video running down just a section of the street food stalls near Khao San Road. Then you'll get the same stretch of sidewalk (both sides) with the still camera. The opening fried fish photo won me a pair of Birkenstocks in a contest with Budget Travel. Oh and that one pic you can't figure out - it's DUCK BILLS... Check out Thai Street Food 2 - The Night Market here: http://youtu.be/RJuTuJMdxNU

Glad to hear that, u deserve it. Nice pics

Thanks! I won a pair of Birkenstocks with that photo. It is one of those shots-of-a-lifetime.

2:59-3:03.....My god, those fish and their toppings...damnnn

i now know why they are so small.

Watching this makes me want to go back to Thailand so bad. Thanks for sharing

I ate as much as I could - the prawns & scrambled egg in the banana leaf was a highlight for me. Both 3:07 and 4:01 were great. What look like almost tacos at 3:07 are a sort of ultra light crisp treat, mine had coconut cream and toasted coconut. Every one is different by vendor.

Did you even try some of the food yourself? Like 4:01? (GODLY) 3:07 is GOODD too 3:45 I'm not sure what's inside coz things vary. They use banana leaves for many Thai snacks. Dang, I'm Thai but I'm pretty sure there are tons of things out there that I haven't tried.

All Thais food are really cheap trust me i'm Thai local....100$ could survive a month......

One thing i love about all the street food is most of it is healthy and not all fast food. I did not eat any of the street food when i was in bangkok, but seeing food everywhere and seeing all the different types of food was definitely a unique and beautiful sight.

Chicagoan to Chicagoan - it won't replace a Charred Vienna Beef with everything from Byron's on Lawrence. Or Gene & Jude's if you like to eat standing... :)

3:32 pancake wrapped hot dogs? Genius!!! For that alone we should enter a free trade agreement with Thailand for their food!

I love love street food in Thailand, just can't get enough. Loads of varieties, fresh, delicious, and inexpensive. Oh and tropical fruits are great stuff too. The BEST! :D

Thai streetfood is the best, fresh and delicious. Buy it often at the night market as a late night snack in my hotel room.

street food of Thailand is a reason enough to go there :)

I am VERY sure that I will, thank you!

I tried. The heat melts the pounds away. Came back 15 pounds lighter. Have the best time in BKK.

I will go there in june, and if nothing else I probably will eat my self to death.. 555

Love how you kept the sound going!

Tons. But I'll bet the farm that allergy-contamination isn't a concern of the average street food vendor...

Too bad I'm allergic to peanuts. How much variety is there without peanuts?

LOVE IT ~! (x3)

Totally - right down the the blue tarps!

That street market looks like mexican "Tianguis" :)

Ok look, these food look really good but when I was there, I saw them crawling with flies. I was really upset cos I couldnt have any.
