no if ur christian u must believe the bible or be a retarded hippocrite not like satanists don't belive in the satanic bible but it's all fucking retarded
Christians don't believe that the earth is six thousand years old! only that man has existed on the earth for that amount of time.
just look at the mind-still this video left in ur head...
now shatter that w/ 1 of an over weight hillbilly spitting and screaming for his high blood pressure pills @ the pharmacy window with a McDonalds combo bag in his hand.
We're far off the mark.
I wouldnt go as far as saying the knowledge has been lost, more like supressed and controlled. I mean could u imagine a person raised surrounded by the world today to all of the sudden have his eyes opened to all this? and Im not talking about some sort of scholar or wunderkind, Im talking about the "average joe". The only solution i can find is that we'd have to b raised around this, to the point that by the time we're of age, this knowledge would seem plainly trivial.
Cultures change. People change. It might be that what we see today is vastly different from what existed several thousand years ago.The flood myths might only have a slight resemblance. This video and others with hancock in them have taught me there's great mystery in our past, buried by time and water. It has taught me that stone is a decent way to transmit a message to future people.. and that it can survive a flood.
The video eludes that a greater understanding of ourselves was once known by an ancient civilization and that we are missing that one grain of knowledge that will make our lives and the universe around us make sense. If the Incas were a part of this ancient knowledge base and they were so advanced why did they have to sacrifice children to the sun? To stop time?? An advanced civilization that knows more than we do, would undoubtedly cherish human life.... no?
creepy ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I feel I must add also, that my favourite thing about this story is that I would never have known of the existance of the ancient and bizarre place on this Earth - for whatever their purpose or meaning!
I think 'T.I.J83' probably called you narrowminded and an idiot because you questioned his strongly felt personal beliefs and he took it (as many do) as a personal attack on him, which is the general problem with people today - O Tempora! O Mores!
And yes 'Sophist' is a good term for Graham, not that I am moaning about his point of view or his series - I really enjoyed them, even if like you say Easter Island could really have been in a totally different place!
Thanks very much for uploading, very interesting - although I do think the Japan 'monument' is a red herring... I've been waiting for a long time to get some extra info on that one...
Also I didn't recall Graham mentioning that Easter Island is constantly moving towards South America and would have been in a totally different place 10500 years ago! Did he not mention that or did I miss it? |
