what's the title of the music used?? please i need it . : )
Ole!!! Just beautiful!
great,,,! luv it..
whoa!
What's the big fuss about shoes anyway and who sets the standard for what is civilized and what is not? If they dance bare-foot it's really not a matter of discussion I bet these dancers here are more educated then any of you. I'd love to see you on stage doing what they do. Come on move your ass folks and dance like them, can you?
And the emphasis is on peasant or farmer? how about the emphasis is on 'happy'.
brilliant. i hope they're still around when i visit ph again, so i can see them perform.
thanks to our music arranger mr. melvin corpin..
Poderiam me dizer como poderia obter a musica?
Can someone tell me what this song was used for?
Folk dancing like this kind is usually danced by the farmers or peasant in the country side, barrio in the Philippines. So barefoot is common among these barrio peasant so it is called folk dancing. These nice clothes or custumes are really elaboration of farmer or peasant clothes to enhance the performance. Enjoy the presentation because the dancers and choreography is awesome.
i certainly got your point... but dont you have any background about the dance? the cloths are so designed for stage performances but the story should not be changed, these are the story of the people having their native wine, farmers perhaps or fishermen most of them dont wear shoes or slippers because of the nature of their work and the way life they have, but it does not make them unethecal. Mind there are so many people wearing elegant dress but certainly does not have good ethics at all.
this is where im frum so if yal dnt like it then dnt say anything negative bkuz this is where im frum and i dnt play wit ppl like yal
LOL! whatever you say! have fun!
you see, they got such cute clothes yet they don't have any foot wears. it just doesn't match.
yah. i actually want them wearing those shoes that you've mentioned.
this song makes me so happy and ....GIGGLY!!!
hope they come here soon
gnt500p: what ethics are you talking about? this is a folk dance presentation. do you want them to be wearing ballet shoes,or wooden shoes, or high heels? none is appropriate? barefeet give freedom of movement
and the natural beauty of folk arts! Enjoy it!
they are wearing so fancy clothes but why are they not wearing any shoes?
hey it's just a question.
i know it's because it's much easier to dance not wearing any but don't they have any ethics?
pilipino rin ako.. nagtatanong lang naman
i love this video, i watch it over and over again.. it makes me miss home.
wow so it is dandansoy, i saw my former tchers dancing this but i no longer study there so i didn't have the chance to know the dance's name wow i loved the dance!very original ,... i missed dancing ballet
hahahahahaha... i know hu this is.... i miss you.... keep it up sir and thank you for all..... i really miss you promise kidding aside... there are more talents out there that needs you so pls dont stop....
It's not american nor russian ballet. It's Philippine ballet. It's still in infancy stage. I'm sure it will evolve more.
Filipinos should be proud of this.
Very original and full of energy. The dancers are very spontaneous creating an atmosphere of fun and life in the rural philippines. Certainly a wise fusion of folk and ballet making the dances more interesting and entertaining. Kudos to the creators and performers.
