I know what you mean. I hate that too and it's really annoying, especially when there is a certain video and you want non filipino's opinion on the video, and maybe get some positive feedback, but then the proud-to-be-this and proud-to-be-that start flooding in, it drives away everybody or worst they get offended and start dissing the video instead.

This is what I hate about our movies.....why do these script writers insist on including tagalish in the dialogue. It is so annoying. Why can't they just make a movie without any tagalish. For me it is a lot better when the dialogue in the movie is done strictly using the native language, like Korean movies or Japanese movies. Many of our Kababayans actually think it's a high status symbol to talk in tagalish but it's not. It only means u can't speak straight english.

yeah i know.. based on the federal tax beureu.. filipinos anre second to all racial minorities to have the most annual gross income in the whole united states due to hard work and perseverance... im filipino too.. just in the states.. i love copying languages and accents..i speak spanish, filipino, cebuano, chavacano, tagalog, and ebonic...hehe..=)

I'm Filipino and I'm happy that I'm Filipino but sometimes our "patriotism" is a bit offensive to others. To be honest seeing "proud to be Pinoy" or "Filipino pride" I'm Filipino video can be very annoying.

@abalssachar. In the UK . Its where english was made and english is their local language. While america. Has a huge percentage if people whe speaks diffrent lng. Esp. Spanish, chinese, indian etc. From diff. People groups who migrated to thr US..

FYI! Phillippines's are the most country who speaks many language, i love them but i don't like other filipino's because many of them is an animal abuser, i love animals and i'm very sad when i hear a news about animal abuser coming from their country! :(
