Just for those who don't know the Pop tart cat says, "Nyan"
Nyan or Nya is Japanese for "Meow"
To me it sounds quite acurate.
I like to hear about what other cultures think and say about all kinds of things. It quite interesting to try to see things in a way you've never thought of before.

I have a teacher who actually sneezes like "Ah hyoo Ah hyoo Ah hyoo" really quickly in a monotoned voice. o_O Makes me crack up all the time.

Nyam? That's the same in French, "Niam, Niam, DELICIEUX"
I remember this Korean story I read when I was younger where this tiger kept farting near this guy that played a flute, then the guy tricked the tiger and shoved his flute up his butt, so when he farted, you would hear the flute to let you know he was coming. I don't know why I'm thinking of this now, but the fart sound affect reminded me of the story.
MaHnga :(. I used to pronounce it Maynga, too.
I had Korean exchange students, and when they dropped something, they would be like, "oh meh!" which they said translated to "oh, mother!". The guys would be like, "oh, god damn!"
Ones I know are 쿨쿨 (kul (kool?) kul) for snoring and 쿵쿵 (koong koong)which is like for stomping, banging, or something
