most of these celebrities weren't born, didn't grow up or has never been to the Philippines. I doubt if they even think about the Philippines when they achieve something. I remember Angela Perez Baraquio when she was to pass the crown to the Miss America 2002, she exclaimed how proud she is to be an American instead of saying that she's proud of representing Asian- American community to America and to the entire world. Just saying.

I've always been proud of Lea S. both as a professional and in her personal life. She carried herself with dignity and grace, gave her very best, and didn't let success/fame get into her head. I'd like to point out that her being conservative in her manner of dressing and language is also admirable. She is worthy to emulate, an inspiration in this day and age. :-)
