India: Should You Visit Sunderbans Tiger Reserve?

I would recommend going with helptourism instead of the goverment provided boats shown in this video. The boat in the video is much larger, and thus unable to get into the smaller tributaries which has richer wildlife. You probably still won't see a tiger, but certainly lot more crocs. I went with helptourism, who provide a boat containing at most 4 people, and 3 guides. In my tour, I saw 8 crocs, several pigs, deers, and a giant lizard. Sunderbans is also a great place for bird watching.

Too bad you guys didn't see a tiger.

As long as you don't expect to see tigers, it was wonderful!

I must say the idea of relaxing with great food sounds PERFECT to me :)
