Crossing to Mt. Maarat in Rodriguez San Mateo Rizal is not easy for MTB rider, good weather excellent body condition are the required perfect combination prior to cross in the summit of Mt. Maarat.
Estimated 30 kilometers or more mountain bike ride from Shotgun or Timberland Heights in San Mateo Rodriguez Rizal, Some hardcore riders will choose the rigid way from beginning to end. Shotgun and Timberland is an inclined 40 to 70 degrees zigzag cement road with approximate 7kilometers long to Giant Cycling Station MTB climbing Trekking is one of the best parts to experience while on crossing The All Terra Eco Trail in Mt. Maarat.
There are two zone categorize for MTB Rider. Green Zone is for the beginners and the Blue zone is for the Professionals and Hardcore riders, but for your safety I recommend to you to classify your MTB what and which way to chose before crossing the Mt. Maarat.
While riding your Bike in the part trail of the Mountain prepare yourselves for some impediments, body dehydration, terrain dirt, mud woods, and big rocks will surely encountered, there are two safe way options to exit in Mt. Maarat one is the Amang Rodriguez passing through Timberland Heights and the other one is via Marcos Highway Boso Boso in Antipolo.
I survived MTB hardcore riding with my newbie tandem rider Dado... this ride happened last Sunday morning on February 19, 2012.
Mt. Maarat is located in the Philippine Archipelago with a Geographical Coordinates of: 14°43′N 121°7′E
