She would be sexy if you couldn't see it at all because you can hear it and she makes you feel it.

No Lie! Thank you for posting this!

When I look at this talented and beautiful, loving human being; bi-racial, it makes me wonder how much brain damage do you have to sustain to believe in the myth of racial purity; and stick with your own kind.

hey if you've got time, please check out my cover of another rainy day :) hope you like it, and any feedback would be appreciated! and subscribe!

Funny how all of the comments are about HAIR, and this is a MUSIC video xD

Natural hair is easy, once you learn how to manage it. ;) Also, her hair is not in an "Afro" it's a "braid out" or "twist out". Very easy, beautiful styles to achieve.

A Corinne além de ter uma voz lindíssima, consegue ser 'sexy' de um modo muito elegante!

Corinne Bailey Rae is of mixed race which means she has a different hair texture than most African-American women. Many African-American women have thick coarse hair that is harder to keep up with on a daily basis, it's so much easier to put it into braids/weave and/or add a relaxer because of preference and time.

I wear my hair natural, although I'm mixed, but many women are starting to challenge this beauty norm. The mainstream media however (which is primarily run by white men, might I add) has a lot of influence on the psyche of men and women. It's not as easy as simply deciding one day to let you hair "free". It's physiological. Believe me, looking different from the norm gets you a lot of attention, and it's not always good. Luckily there are people like you and I that can think outside the box.

:D 100% true

I understand what you mean and definitely don't look down upon you for your choices! But I suppose I think it's a shame more people are not willing to challenge the standard image of beauty. I can admit I've fallen victim to this too, I think everyone has at one time or another. But after reading facts about how curly hair is actually more common than straight hair, I think it's appalling that so many are willing to cover that up to almost make it seem like the opposite is true!

Thank you! That's what I was trying to say, I guess it didn't come across to some people and they made the assumption that I was underestimating its up-keep. I fully understand what a chore any type of curly hair can be, but that IN NO WAY means it's not worth it! I gained so much confidence through discovering how to tame what I had naturally been given, and I think it's sad others are resistant to experiencing that!

Exactly my point! Though I've never used a chemical straightener or had to deal with a weave, I vividly remember my mother blow-drying my hair EVERY DAY when I was younger just so it would be easier to manage. As soon as I got old enough that that became my responsibility and I realized what a chore it was, I discovered the hair texture I'd been covering up all that time. I started using products to bring that out, and only last year did I begin The Curly Girl Method. I think curls are amazing!

Yeah, well, centuries of colonialism (and in result, internalized racism) plus a media which emphasizes a Caucasian standard of beauty (i.e. straight hair) can do that a group of people. Some of us (like me!) are not so lucky as to have our images featured all over the media positively, and therefore feel compelled to conform to a beauty standard. Just sayin'.

she is just soo beautiful

She is simply stunning.

Corinne does it again with her amazing voice. This song is so original

*not

actually, i agree with emmaraldgreen. he/she is giving us (black women) a compliment. why should we have to hide behind these chemicals and weaves to be something we're night? and its because of these cosmetics that we don't know how to take car of our natural hair. Maintaining a perm is a lot harder than taking care of the hair you were BORN with.

This song is like the female version of Barry White makin' love music. ^_~ ♥

Omg I Been Secretly Liking Her Now Im finding ALL The Songss By HER That I Lovee

She'll still want an afro because they're beautiful! She never said they were easy to up-keep, just that she didn't understand why we cover it up! Which is the same question I have, and I'm black!

What happend to her??? Don't know if I like it or not... ~ will have to listen to it a couple of times -.-

Well I didn't want to upset you, but I know what I am talking about because I am black with afro hair 4C , that is why I said to you to check out kimmaytube because it helped me out. Do whatever you want with your hair, just don't be angry at people because they love your natural hair. That was my point.

I don't need help with how to manage my natural hair but you are not the only ones who can experiment with your hair and us black woman really don't need you guys telling us what we should and shouldn't do with our hair when you know absolutely nothing about it. Afros are beautiful yes but they are not for everyone. Nobody tells you that you shouldn't flat iron your hair. So why tell me what I should do with mine? And it sounds like a lot of people don't appreciate sarcasm #toobad #nuffsaid
