@alternate15 it's called castanets... but the castanets here in the Philippines were different in Mexico or Spain, we use Bamboo castanets, and was loosely held and not attached with a rope/string...

if you're a real dance enthusiast, at least 5'8" tall, has a pleasing appearance, and especially not a busy person, why not? try to join in their annual summer workshop... maybe they will be able to have you in the group...
