ironically snails is much healthier then coco puffs :X. Snails looked terrible to me too but then I gave it a try at a vietnamese and french cuisine....and it is damn good.

11 am and i'd be glad to trade my pudding and french sandwich for some Pho.

hmm Tet's food is normally not as yummy as regular food here. it's more of the traditional things that we must have. taste wise, banh chung and all those stuffs can never compare to street food!

Vietnam is such a shithole country! Simple! Im just really having a hard time understanding how you can stand eating worms and fried cockroaches everyday :/ On my hand, I would never eat anything from vietnam, way too easy to catch some fucked up disease that will destroy your liver or kidneys!

I would have my food cooked by a dedicated professional who is not in business because she poisons her customers, compared to some snot nose kid making minimum wage and mad at the world.

Everyone I know like snails. But my stomach cannot digest it, I feel not comfortable.

...Sorry, but my tastes are rather basic and simple and when it comes to eating snails and other animals related to the snail,I prefer not to head off in that direction as far as eating slugs is concerned.

Vietnam is a shithole, its like an open sewer! Its a breeding ground for all kinds of fucked up diseases. If I wanna eat cockroaches and worms or catch hepatitis, then Ill go to vietnam for sure.

Hahahah, you are funny. You really think most restaurants in the US are also clean, handled properly and food fresh? Sure, cleaner than others, but believe me, there are plenty of restaurants that would fail standards but are never caught because of inept inspectors and lack of resources.

after 3 weeks anywhere in south east asia you don't really notice the rubbish. As for hefty fines and inspections I personaly belive would fund coruption. Vietnam is fine the way it is.

No matter how beautiful they would want to make the city, the people still litter the streets with garbage. Restaurants are lack of cleanliness standard. If they want more tourism revenue, all they have to do is to strictly enforce litter control and food safety.  They got to punish hard to those who violate the laws like in the USA. If you are caught littering, you are slapped with $250-$1,000 in fines! If a restaurant fails inspection, it gets hefty fines or shut down.

if you try to learn Vietnamese just a little bit, you will realise that it is the most beautiful language ever

Good Pho' is hard to find in the states but once you find it....YUM!
